No it’s not my 31st spanking story review. At least I don’t think it is. That’s the name of the story. It’s a clever and very creative name too. No. 31 is a free spanking story at the Library of Spanking Fiction. It’s written by Mary, and it’s a M/F spanking story. (Look under Mary’s serials with the drop down menu on the home page.)
This story is 5 chapters long and tells the story of a woman’s first spanking. She gets it in an unconventional way too. Claire seeks out her spanking fantasies at a company called No. 31. Think about the number 31 as the company’s logo. Now turn the number 90 degrees. Clever, huh?
I loved the playfulness of this story. It’s a positive story of a woman daring to finally get the spanking she’s always dreamed of having. Claire’s fantasy is a classic naughty employee and her boss scene, but hearing Claire’s thoughts as her fantasy comes to life reminds me of all the reasons why I have these same fantasies. Mary is an excellent writer, and I plan to read more of her stories soon. This is her only serial (many chapter story) on the site right now. She does have 11 other short stories listed.
I’m going to say it again. If you haven’t checked out the Library of Spanking Fiction for free spanking stories yet, you are really missing out.
This spanking story review is not about a free spanking story. It’s part of the membership site Discipline and Desire. With over 700 spanking stories online, Discipline and Desires members usually take some time getting through all the stories, especially when more are added every week.
The Houseboat is written by Katrina Devlin. She’s one of my favorite authors on the site. She often writes historical spanking stories, but this one is a contemporary. After reading The Houseboat, I sure hope she decides to write more contemporary stories, specifically about a few of the characters in this story.
The Houseboat is 9 chapters long. All 9 chapters are already available on the site. Members of the site know that new stories are introduced one chapter at a time, but once it’s completely released, the entire story remains available in the database until it eventually is released in an ebook. I really like the longer stories as I’ve said before. I like to really get to know the characters. Other readers may like shorter stories that get right down to the spanking scenes.
In The Houseboat, the spankings are not the main focus. This is a relationship story about Ruby and Will and how two very different people come together and fall in love. What really makes this story special is the unique secondary characters, specifically Ruby’s family and Will’s band members. I would love to see Amelia and Cary as wells as Pryor and Ariana get their own stories. Katrina does an amazing job with creating characters that you can’t get enough of.
Ruby Davenport is a 36-year-old woman getting over a bitter divorce and the death of her young son. She decides to start a new life by buying a houseboat and living on it. Docked next to her houseboat is “Strummer” which is owned by Will, a musician with specific ideas about how bad behavior from a woman should be handled. While Ruby is trying to put together a new life, she realizes she wants Will to be a part of that life, even if he does have a firm hand.
This is a fun story with great dialogue. My favorite part of The Houseboat is that the spanking seems like such a natural part of the story. If you are a member of Discipline and Desire, please make The Houseboat your next reading choice. You won’t be sorry.
Here’s another free spanking story from Library of Spanking Fiction. You have visited there, haven’t you? If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? This one is by Flopsybunny who has 104 serials and 45 stories on this site. The number keeps climbing. Flopsybunny manages this site, and it appears she’s the most frequent contributor too.
So let’s get to A Perfect Date (it’s under the P’s not the A’s). This is the first story by flopsybunny that I’ve read. It’s a short story, but packed with fun. You will really feel for poor Amanda who gets the raw end of the deal (I know, I had to do it) from the cop and her boyfriend, Greg. This is a very quick read with a little surprise twist thrown in at the end. If you are in the habit of making out in a car, you might think again after reading this one. Well, if you are a woman that is. The guys may have another opinion. It was definitely a perfect date for Greg.
I’ll be reading more from Flopsybunny. She’s a talented writer, and I love how she gets right into the action of a short story. So for a quick read tonight, look up A Perfect Date on the Library of Spanking Fiction. You won’t be sorry.
Now I promised I’d do some spanking story reviews from the Library of Spanking Fiction. Here’s the first one.
I randomly looked for one of the latest stories posted. I read Cherry Hart Falls by Juliabee. You need to be signed in to read this story (registration is free). Go to Juliabee’s stories and select “Serials.” There you’ll find the 3 chapters of Cherry Hart Falls.
Juliabee does nice job with developing the plot of this story. No, every chapter is not full of spanking, but by the time Mac and Lexie get to it, you will be cheering them on. Mac struggles with his feelings for Lexie, but he finally realizes she’s the women for him. You’ll love Lexie’s sassy attitude.
It’s an enjoyable story with lots of fun dialogue. If anything I would have liked the story to be longer. The secondary characters will also make you laugh. Lorna, Lexie’s sister, or Tina could easily have their own stories come out of this one (I’m hinting and hoping). Cherry Hart Falls seems like a spanking fun place to be.
I’ll definitely be checking back to see if Juliabee adds any new stories or serials on Library of Spanking Fiction.
Recently, I saw some comments on a spanking message board from women who are not in spanking relationships, but who satisfy some of their spanking fantasies by reading spanking fiction. Obviously, the ideal situation is to be in a loving spanking relationship, but when that isn’t available, spanking stories can be a way to help satisfy these needs.
Fiction has always been a way to live vicariously through story characters. However, in spanking stories, it isn’t just about thoughts and emotions, it’s also a very physical activity and need. Let’s just get this out front, spankings hurt. Reading about spankings doesn’t (well, unless you get caught reading them when you shouldn’t be). So just how much can reading spanking stories be satisfying or can it create more frustration causing you to want what you don’t have?
According to the women in the group I was reading, they consider reading spanking stories to be very satisfying despite not having a real spanking relationship available. It gives them fuel for their fantasies, for one thing. It allows them to escape just for a little while into the fictional lives of the characters. It’s the same as women reading romance novels. Romance novels are full of ideal romantic relationships. It doesn’t mean a woman has to feel lacking if her relationship with a man doesn’t live up to that standard. It’s a fun escape, an entertaining pastime - just like reading spanking stories.
