Mariah snorted and stood up to retrieve the plates from the table.  She layered them in the wash basin and collected the teapot from the table.

“More tea?” she asked stiffly.

“No, thank you,” he said.

Luke returned and handed the razor strop and ferule to Bart.

“Is this what you wanted?” he asked his boss.

“Exactly,” Bart said.  “Thanks, Luke.  I’ll talk to you later.”

Jax tentatively put her small hand in his large one, her eyes sliding to the neatly aligned posts with rounded logs running along the top.  “You… you can’t mean you’re going to… to…”

“Spank you right here?”  he supplied helpfully, leading her to the fence.

“If they haven’t found him yet, then I’m still stuck here.  That means there is not a damn thing ‘good’ about this morning!” she snapped, grabbing her coffee and stomping into the library.

Her foul mood lifted when she walked into the library and saw Michael talking to her uncle.  However, once she realized they were once again going over blueprints, the reprieve was brief.  She slammed her coffee mug down on the table and threw herself into one of the overstuffed chairs with an annoyed grunt.

“Hi, sweetie,” Michael greeted her amicably. “Maybe you should switch to decaf.”

“Why not?”

He grinned. “Bright girl. I think we might be making progress. Stay home, lock both doors, and stay inside the house.”

“Why?”

Hearing the serious tone of his voice, she rested her head on the cool plaster as tears streaked down her face. How had she gotten herself here? Why didn’t she just follow the rules that they’d decided on together? What was so hard about that? She didn’t have any answers but she knew that she richly deserved what was coming. That knowledge didn’t help with the anxiety that she was feeling, though.

She was unsure how long she stood there, heart heavy with dread. A part of her thought it was forever, while another part thought it wasn’t nearly long enough.

“Turn around and come over here.”

Her heart tripped as she heard the command, which she knew was just the beginning of her troubles.

Matched Set is another wonderful M/F spanking story from ruegirl.  I previously reviewed ruegirl’s Walking Disaster, a free spanking story, at the Library of Spanking Fiction.  You can find Matched Set along with a ton of other spanking stories on ruegirl’s Author Page at the Library of Spanking Fiction.

I’ve read quite of few of ruegirl’s stories, and the one thing I love about her writing is that you never know what you are going to get.  Oh yes, you’re going to get an M/F spanking story (with rare exceptions), but her writing talent is obvious in her ability to write complex drama, playful spanking scenes, serious discipline and humorous dialogue.  She writes fantasy, historical and contemporary spanking stories.  I’ll be talking about a few other ruegirl stories in the coming weeks.

Matched Set is one of her short spanking stories.  However, as short stories go, this one is rather long at nearly 12,000 words.  Rosemary and Jasmine (also known as Rosie and Jazz) are twins, though not identical twins.  Rosie is marrying Lochlan, also known as Lochie.  However, this is Jazz and Cameron’s story.  Cameron is also known as Lochlan’s brother.  I know it seems confusing, but it’s not.  Trust me.  The fun really starts when Lochlan’s family comes for dinner at Lochlan and Rosie’s house, and Jazz pretends to be the hired help.  Oh, and when I say “family,” I mean the parents, the sister and her husband, her children, the grandmother, and of course, the handsome brother, Cameron.

Cameron and Jazz start off with a misunderstanding and dislike each other at first.  You know how those things often end up in a spanking story.  The spankings in this story are fun, but it’s the banter between Cameron and Jazz that will keep you hooked into the story.  This story is a keeper!  If you love seeing two  people slowly figure out how perfect they are for each other, you’re going to thank me for pointing you to this story.  Of course, the grandmother saw a match made in heaven from the start.

Oh my! This is a beautiful, tender, sweet spanking story!

You can find this spanking story, All the Days of Our Lives by saradora at the Library of Spanking Fiction.  This is an M/F spanking story about an engaged couple working out the terms of their domestic discipline relationship.  I can’t say enough about what a beautiful love story this is.

There are no names in this story.  The boyfriend spanks his girlfriend very hard for not taking her medication.  We hear his point of view as he expresses how much he loves her and why he spanks her.  She struggles with being spanked.  She decides to leave him because of the spankings, even though she clearly loves him.
